Sulphate is widely present in natural waters. It is not toxic but has to be kept below a certain threshold because it imparts an unpleasant taste to the water. Titration method. Range (20-100 mg/L) Medium range. Range (100-1000 mg/L) (1000-10000 mg/L) High range.
Sulphate Test Kit
The HI-38000 is a chemical test kit that determines the sulphate concentration in two ranges: 20 to 30 mg/L and 30 to 100 mg/L. The HI-38000 is supplied with all of the necessary reagents and equipment to perform the analysis using the barium sulphate turbidimetric method. The test kit contains enough reagents to perform approximately 100 tests.
- All required materials are included with the test kit, such as the glass vials, plastic pipette, reagent bottles and packets
- High resolution – Readings from 20 to 30mg/L are determined to 5mg/L resolution; Readings from 30 to 100 mg/L are determined to 10mg/L resolution
