HI-13302 HALO WIRELESS PH ELECTRODE FOR VIALS AND TEST TUBES
HI-13302
HALO® Wireless pH electrodes make pH testing simple. Take direct pH and temperature measurements directly in test tubes and vials using the specifically designed HI-13302.
HALO Wireless pH electrodes make pH testing simple. Take direct pH and temperature measurements directly in test tubes and vials using the specifically designed HI-13302. HI-13302 HALO has a tapered glass body and a spheric glass sensing bulb made with low temperature glass. The HI-13302 is ideal for vials, test tubes, and smaller vessel applications. All readings are transmitted directly to your mobile or tablet device (with the Hanna Lab App) or the edge® blu.
HI-13302 HALO® Wireless pH electrode for Vials and Test Tubes
The HI-13302 HALO® is a slim glass pH electrode that incorporates Bluetooth Smart (Bluetooth 4.0) wireless technology with an application-specific design. It has many features that make it ideal for use in laboratory applications, especially when using vials and test tubes. These features include low temperature (LT) glass, tapered glass body, and single junction with 3.5M KCl + AgCl electrolyte.
- Fits easily into vials and test tubes, 3mm tip
- Visible from a distance, the LED “halo” light flashes to indicate its status.
- The HALO’s CR2032 lithium ion battery is easily replaceable and lasts for approximately 500 hours
- Just one click and the electrode will connect to a tablet or mobile phone through the Hanna Lab App or the edge® blu. Smartphone and tablet not included.
Low-Temperature Glass Formulation
The HI-13302 is suitable to use with samples that measure from -5 to 70°C.
Spherical Bulb
The spherical bulb is for general purpose use. Other tip shapes include conic for penetration and flat tip for surface measurements.
Tapered Glass Body
The narrow glass body is ideal for laboratory use, specifically with test tubes and vials. The glass is resistant to many harsh chemicals and can be easily cleaned. The glass body also allows for a fast transfer of heat to the internal reference electrolyte. The mV generated by the reference cell is temperature dependent. The faster the electrode reaches equilibrium, the steadier the reference potential.
Single Ceramic Junction
The outer junction of an electrode, also known as a salt bridge, is a necessary component of the electrical circuit. The movement of ions must flow through the junction for a steady reading. A single ceramic junction has a flow rate of 15-20 μL/hour. Other junction types are available with higher flow rates and are made with different materials.
Bluetooth® Connection – Wire free data transmission using Bluetooth 4 low power technology.
Compatible with the HANNA Edge Blu® meter, and also allows transmission of pH and temperature data to your mobile phone or tablet in conjunction with the free HANNA Lab App.

Hanna Lab App
The first app that turns an iPad® or mobile phone into a full-featured pH meter!
The Hanna Lab App turns an iPad® or mobile phone into a full-featured pH meter when used with the Hanna HALO® pH electrode with Bluetooth® smart technology. Functions include calibration, measurement, data logging, graphing and data sharing. Measurement and logging of pH and temperature at one second intervals start as soon as the probe is connected. Measurements can be displayed alone on the display, with tabulated data or as a graph. The graph can be planned and zoomed with the iPad's pinch-to-zoom technology for enhanced viewing.
Connecting a HALO® probe to the Hanna Lab App is simple. Tap the Bluetooth® icon in the top-right corner to view all available HALO® probes then press the button on your HALO® probe. The blue halo on the probe will start blinking indicating that it is in discovery mode. Select the newly discovered HALO® probe from the list of available probes. If a previously associated probe is detectable when the app is opened, it will connect to that probe automatically.
- Connects to HALO® via Bluetooth® 4.0
- Up to five-point pH calibration with seven standard pH buffers available
- Calibration reminder
- pH and temperature updated every second
- Basic and full GLP
- Fluid, dynamic graphing
- Measurement alarms alerts you if the measurement threshold is exceeded
- One button sample tagging
- Data-logging with custom annotations
- Share data via email in CSV format
- Help and tutorials
