The HI-38058-100 are replacement reagents for the colorimetric determination of pH with the HI-38058 pH Test Kit.

The HI-38058-100 are high quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate pH measurements with the HI-38058 chemical test kit. These reagents follow the colorimetric method to determine pH.
For determination of pH, HI-38058-0 reagent reacts in contact with the aqueous solution changing its colour according to the hydrogen-ion concentration (pH) in the given range. The reaction causes a coloured complex to form; the greater the concentration, the deeper the colour. The Checker Disc supplied with the kit allows for an accurate, side-by-side, visual analysis to determine pH concentration. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected pH range of 4.0 to 10.
