HI-4016-46 is a 500 mL bottle of conditioning solution made specifically for Hanna’s FC300B Sodium Ion Selective Electrode (ISE).
Before using the FC300B Sodium electrode for the first time, or if reactivating it after storage, the electrode should be conditioned with HI-4016-46, then soaked in the HI-4016-45 storage solution, and calibrated before measurements are taken. By conditioning the glass membrane, a thin layer of glass is removed, exposing a fresh surface in which Sodium ion exchange can occur. Using the HI-4016-46 will ensure optimum measurement performance from the FC300B Sodium ISE.
