Ozone is utilised as an oxidising agent and a germicide. When employed as a disinfectant in drinking water, ozone oxidises organic matter and effectively reduces colour and odour impurities.
Ozone Test Kit
The HI-38054 ozone test kit determines the ozone concentration in water via a checker disc. The reaction between ozone and the reagent causes a pink tint in the sample which is proportional to the ozone concentration.
