Fluoride standard solutions are used to calibrate all instruments that measure fluoride using a fluoride ISE.

The HI-70701/1L is supplied in a 1 litre bottle. These standard solutions allow you to calibrate all instruments, that measure fluoride using ion-specific sensors. The most common applications include the analysis of water from springs close to volcanic rocks, or the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, glass and steel industries.

HI-70701/1L is a 1 g/L standard solution of fluoride used to calibrate the fluoride solid state ion selective electrode (ISE). Hanna ISE standard solutions are manufactured with high purity chemicals and bottled in our own state-of-the-art facility.

ISEs require calibration for accurate readings when performing measurement techniques such as direct measurement and incremental methods. Calibration of up to two points is recommended for enhanced accuracy. Volumetric glassware can be used to make dilutions of standard solutions to bracket the expected concentration of the sample to be measured. ISE calibration standards and sample solutions should always have the same ionic strength; the exact volume of ionic strength adjuster (ISA) must be added to all standards and samples prior to measurement.
